Recently, Baffin Bay Rod and Gun experienced a life changing event. Our lodge and home burned down on April 30, 2014.
But, when one door closes, another one opens and we found a perfect house to rent, right on the water.
So while our new lodge is being built, we are enjoying the beautiful setting of our temporary lodge. We can still accommodate up to 10 people, with two bedrooms each sleeping two people and a large loft that sleeps 6. Our rate for lodging is just $30 per person per night (plus applicable tax). The one thing remaining to make your stay with us complete is one of the things which we are
fast gaining a reputation for…… Great Food!!
This is King Ranch country and few things are better than a great rib-eye steak after a long day on the water. We also offer a variety and an ever-changing menu of delicious meals prepared on the grill or in our very own kitchen.
Each member of your party will enjoy a breakfast usually consisting of breakfast tacos, fresh juice, coffee and fruit. Then, a brown bag lunch for the boat, with sandwiches, chips, cookies and whatever isn’t nailed down in the kitchen to make sure to keep your strength up during the day so you can reel in the big ones.
After a great day on the water or in the duck blind, a delicious dinner will be prepared from our pre-planned menu.
Choice Ribeye Steaks, thick cut pork chops, mango habanero glazed pork tenderloins and delicious marinated and grilled quail are some of our specialties. All of this for only $65 per person per day.
So, for only $95 per person per day (plus tax), we will take extra special care of your clients, friends or family and all their lodging and meal needs. Feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverages and wine to make the meal complete.
If you decide to stay with us, plan to arrive around 5:00pm or so. Your room(s) will be ready and there will snacks and cold beverages available. Dinner is served between 6:00pm and 6:30pm, (depending on your arrival time and schedule). Hot breakfast is served between 5:00am and 6:00am, and we will load up the boats for the trip to the ramp (across the street). Lunch will be packed and ready on the boat. We usually fish about 8 hours, so plan on returning to the dock between 2:30pm to 3:30pm. We will clean and package your fish while you grab a cold one, a shower, dip in the pool or just some relaxation.
