We hunt on the water in Baffin Bay, usually from portable ground blinds along the
King Ranch and Kenedy Ranch shorelines.
We will not trespass on the ranches and we will make every effort to make sure that you know when and where you can shoot. Please pay close attention to your guide as they will make certain you know where to hunt.
Straps for your ducks and game bags/belts are a great idea for carrying your extra ammunition and for picking up spent shells. Waterproof gun cases work great for carrying your gun to and from the shoreline.
Early season duck hunting can be rather warm so dress accordingly. Late season
hunting can be cold and wet. Make sure your outer layers are waterproof.
We will provide milk crates or other seating, as well as blind materials.
Gun Safety
Gun safety is imperative and unsafe gun handling will not be tolerated. Always be aware of where your fellow hunters are and especially be aware of our dogs. They are like our children and we are extremely protective of them. Do not shoot over the dogs!!
Hunting with Dogs
If you bring your own dogs, make sure they have plenty of water to drink and to help cool off with.
Texas Law
NOTE: Texas law requires all hunters born on or after September 2, 1971 to have successfully completed a hunter education course to legally hunt in the State of Texas. This is a 10-hour course.
